Vince E. Puente, Sr.

Vince E. Puente, Sr. is a proud native and resident of North Texas. He is co-owner and President of Marketing and Sales for Southwest Office Systems, Inc. In his current role, Mr. Puente handles all aspects of the sales, marketing, public relations and liaison with the manufacturers SOS represents. In addition, he has joint responsibility for the financial aspects of SOS.

Margaret (Molly) Curl

Margaret (Molly) Curl of Richardson is a retired partner with Grant Thornton LLP. Prior to that, she was part of the senior management team for entities controlled by Beal Financial Corporation. Curl began her career with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in Chicago and Dallas, as a national bank examiner.  She is on the board of Guaranty Bancshares, Inc. (Parent company of Guaranty Bank & Trust NA headquartered in Mt. Pleasant). Curl is also on the board of First National Bank of America in East Lansing, Michigan.

Robert (Bob) Borochoff

Public Member

Robert (Bob) Borochoff of Houston is owner and CEO of Café Adobe Restaurants. Since 1982, Borochoff owned many historic Houston eateries including Boston Sea Party, Dave's, and The Back Bay. He was the creator and producer of the iconic Party On the Plaza and Funday In the Park music series in the eighties and nineties and owned one of the largest catering businesses in Houston during that time.

Paul W. Plunket, Chair

Paul W. Plunket of Dallas was appointed in November 2018 as Chairman of the Finance Commission of Texas. Plunket is retired and most recently was senior vice president of Oncor Electric Delivery Co. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Energy Bar Association, and past president of the Texas Utility Lawyers. Plunket received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a law degree from the University of Houston.

 

Lori B. McCool

Public Member

Lori B. McCool is a principal for WoodWay Associates LLC. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. She received bachelor’s degrees from Texas Tech University and the University of North Texas, and a law degree from Baylor University. She replaces Stanley D. Rosenberg of San Antonio.
